I am the face behind the lens at J Kathryn Photography. If you've stumbled upon my page because you're looking for a unique photographer, then look no further. I have been in the photography industry for 17 years, specializing in weddings. With experience of shooting hundreds of weddings over the years, I thoroughly love to not only capture your special day, but to help you relax and have fun in the process. If you are looking for super posed, that's not my style. Instead, I take a lifestyle approach to capturing your day from start to finish and all the details in between.

When not photographing weddings on the weekends, you can find me having fun with families, kids, and seniors. There's something about acting silly with kids to get their genuine smiles, that makes my day! To see a high school senior at the end of their session be disappointed that we are done because they enjoyed their photoshoot so much, tells me I've done my job well. Watching families giggle and snuggle in front of the lens as I capture the love that illuminates from their faces makes me smile. Each session is unique in itself, as are each client that trusts me to preserve a memory for them.
